Dr. Rich Kaller, who chairs the Communication Dept. at Cal State University Pomona hosted Com Day on campus, and I was honored to sit on a panel with news media and agency public relations professionals about how technology is changing the business of media, and the practice of media relations.
According to Dr. K, enrollment in his school — which offers communications, journalism and public relations tracks — is up by nearly 10 percent, and given the quality of the faculty, some of who I was fortunate enough to met at the campus today, I can see why.
