Adam Curry yesterday on his Daily Source Code Podcast discusses CNN’s use of anonymous sources to speculate that Michael Jackson may lose control of the Beatles catalog:

“There was a CNN article saying Michael Jackson’s going to loose the Beatles catalog and they report this as researched news, but the first paragraph alone says according to people familiar with the transaction, and it’s like, I’ve had so many people guess about my finances or about whatevers going on with any kind of companies, or sometimes even legal hassel…but people take really cheap shots in press…”

Actually, CNN attributes the risk to Jackson’s “lenders.” The above quotes occur about 11:30 minutes into the podcast.
