Search Engine Land’s Video Recap Experiment

by Eric Schwartzman

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnptFhWFhgU and here’s my unsolicited feedback. I tried to leave this as a comment in YouTube but the size of the comment field is too small, so I’m posting it as a Sidewiki and cross posting to my blogger blog.

First off, I love audible content, so right off the bat, the format is attractive to me. Danny Sullivan’s spoken presentation is solid. He gives you the relevant info, and clicking to the different screen shots during the explanations is a nice touch.

In terms of the visual preso, the background could be spurced up a little, and I’m sure he’ll learn quickly not to move his head so much.

Last, but certainly not least, if Search Engine Land decides to do this reguarly, I hope they get an RSS feed that validates in iTunes. If so, I’ll be a regularly listener.

Thanks Danny!

I’ve tried a lot of the podcasts covering search currently and the sleaze factor is just too darn high for me to become a regular listener. But if you start doing a dialy recap like this, it would be one of my regular listens.
